MY LIGHTHOUSE FAMILY 

To all my Lighthouse Family

I'd like to write a word or two

Because in my time of troubles

It's you, who've pulled me through.

You have shared my times of sorrow

Heard my worries, felt my pain

You lightened up this load I bare

You've gifted me this gain.

Though we are all just Grannies

And have our Grandkids to bring on through

I always must remember that

I'm still a Mother too.

You've seen me through some bad times

You've helped me through the worst

I see those times so different now

A blessing, not a curse.

Just this joy of being together

Each one different yet we're the same

I am happy just to be with you

I know we're not to blame.

It's not a comfort that we share

This same experience

It is a comfort just to have you there

If that makes any sense.

So please accept these few lines

You know what I'm trying to say

You're a light that's been sent to guide me

And help me find my way.
