Kathleen is a founder member of the Foundation and comes from a sales and marketing background, running her own successful business for many years prior to joining the Lighthouse. She has worked for the Foundation since 2003. Her passionate, empathetic approach to her work has ensured the Foundation continues to go from strength to strength and that the families remain at the heart of the Foundations work. |

Ceri Shennan - Business Manager |
|
Ceri joined the Lighthouse in 2003 after graduating in Business Administration from Paisley University. Ceri was a volunteer grants assessor for 2 years with the Scottish Community Foundation and so has experience of both sides of fundraising. Ceri's strengths lie in her organisation abilities and her knowledge of personnel and business legislation. She works behind the scenes to ensure that the Foundation continues to meet it's outcomes. |

Lorraine O'Neil - Family Support Coordinator (HMP) |

Lorraine has been with the Foundation since 2005 and has over twenty years experience working with people who have physical, mental and emotional problems. She has been instrumental in the development of the Family Support project for families of prisoners. Her passionate, hands on approach to her work has given families of prisoners a place to turn. |

Alan Farmer - Family Advisor (HMP) |

Alan joined The Lighthouse in March 2009 and he quickly become a valued member of the team. Being Irish Alan is never lost for words but combines this with a good listening ear. His vast knowledge of court proceedings stems from his previous employment with Reliance. One of Alan's strengths is his ability to make people feel at ease and has been described by families as a 'critical friend'. |

Morag joined the Foundation in 2006 and recently moved to austraila in Feb 2010, she will be missed. |

Janet Kirkwood - Support Worker |
|
Janet has been here since May 2009. Janet has taken up a new role which looks at redeveloping family ties. Janet spent over 20 years working for the NHS and worked for Turning Point Addiction services for 4 years before joining the Foundation. In addition to her wide range of knowledge Janet brings a calmness to the team. Her ability to empathise and develop positive working relationships should prove invaluable whilst piloting the family mediation project. Janet also does acupuncture, Indian Head Massage and the Emotional Freedom Technique. |

Lynne Kinnison - Child/Young Persons Counsellor |
|
Lynne joined the Lighthouse in October 2007 after previously working here as a sessional counsellor. She is passionate about the rights of the child. Her qualifications include a Diploma in Counselling accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy(1993-1995) and a Post Grad Diploma in Non Directive Play Therapy accredited by British Association of Play Therapists (2005-2008). Lynne has previously worked for NCH and Children 1st and has over 17 years experience in the fields of counselling and addiction.

Linsey Ivory - Administration Assistant |

Linsey joined us at the beginning of August on a work placement from East Ayrshire Council. She is training to become an administrator. Even though she has been here for a short time she has quickly become an integral part of the team. Linsey's efficient organised approach to her work has made the office a much tidier place to work! |

John-Paul Penman - Children's Therapist |
|
John-Paul Penman is our new Family Support Worker/Art Therapist. Having originally trained in Fine Art John-Paul went on to take the Post-Graduate Diploma in Art Therapy in 1998. John-Pauls working experience has been varied in different settings and with a range of client groups, children and adults. Including setting up Art Therapy work in schools, hospice care and providing training and consultations to organisations. |

James Kirkland - Volunteer Co-ordinator |
|
Jimmy Kirkland has recently joined The lighthouse Foundation as a volunteer co-ordinator after a 30 year career with strathcylde police. He is the graduate of the University of Portsmouth and during his time with Strathcylde Police. He was involved in both C.I.D. and Community Safety work. In recent years he has been involved in the development of Police led youth diversion programmes and has worked extensively with young gang members and their families. |

Rachael Outram - Children's Worker |
|
Rachael joined the Lighthouse Foundation in early March, coming from SEPA where she worked as an administrative officer. Rachael has spent the past 4 years working with young people in a variety of youth groups in her spare time. Rachael has achieved her goal by joining the Lighthouse Foundation and working with children full time. |
