The Simon Community
The Glasgow Simon Community South Ayrshire
Supported Living and Social Network Service, based
in Ayr. The service works with people
requiring support as a result of severe and enduring
mental health issues. The service works with
individual Service Users and other significant
people in the Service User’s life to identify
activities which the Service User wishes to take
part in. The service then provides support as
identified to enable the service user to engage in
their chosen activities. Support ranges from working
to build social skills to practical support with
arrangements.
