How it's used

Comes in tablet, powder, capsule and crystal form.  Tablets are swallowed, but as users may suffer from nausea after digesting ecstacy tablets lots of people now grind the tablet into powder form to snort, even though it is quite painful to take in this way.  Crystal and capsule ecstacy will be swallowed, while powder ecstacy (more commonly known as MDMA) will be snorted.

Possible Symptoms

Abundant energy, increased friendliness, sociability and promiscuity, increased colour perception, increased thirst, and diminished coordination.  Muscle tension (jaw grinding), blurred vision, sweating, increased heart and blood pressure, hallucinations, reduced appetite, poor sleeping patterns, fainting and chills.  Extremely emotional and physical comedown.

Some things to look for

Unprofessionally produced tablets, specific markings on tablets (logos) usually things that are fashionable, sexy designer etc.  Capsules or crystals (looks like faded brown sugar).  Paper wraps for MDMA powder.  Powder residue on nose or non porous surfaces.  Increased blood pressure and body temperature, anxiety, paranoia and sometimes extreme violence.  Dilated pupils, grinding jaw, constant chewing, high colouring (intense flushing), sweating, chatty and demonstrative/loving.  Poor coordination, gradual weight loss and poor sleeping patterns, puffy features in the morning.
