Challenges

Organising your own challenge for charity can be an incredibly rewarding experience. You can choose the type of event you want to do and tailor it to suit everything you want to achieve.

If you don’t want to start from scratch, there are all sorts of events going on across the UK such as the Three Peaks Challenge  or cycling John O'Groats to Lands End. You’ve probably heard about bike rides or infamous walks in your local area, so why not take part and raise funds?

Some of the well known challenges in Scotland:

The West Highland Way

The River Ayr Way

The Great Glen Way

The Great Scottish Run

Other types of challenges could involve:

skydiving

kayaking

horse riding

bungee jumps

abseiling

Before organising your own challenge, it’s important to do a full risk assessment , including any medical, food, water or equipment requirements you may need. These can be found on the websites that you can link to from this page.  Whatever type of challenge you’re looking to organise, please contact us so that we can assist you with your fundraising.
