This project aims to restore contact and communication within a family which has broken down as a result of addiction. Our independent Mediation Support Worker will work with all family members providing the opportunity for all parties to hear each others perspective, seek out the differences that led to the breakdown in relationships and hopefully try to resolve the differences whilst aiding recovery.
This project is only available to families if the person with the addiction is in recovery and involved with an addiction service as the project works in partnership with addiction services that offer support to individuals who are trying to move on from their addiction.
If your family member is involved with an addiction service they can be referred to our family mediation support worker who will seek to help resolve differences that have led to the break down in contact.
