The Lighthouse Foundation is an Ayrshire wide charity who work with families affected by drug and alcohol misuse.  We provide direct support to families who are finding it difficult to cope with a family members addiction.   The Foundation was established in 2001 to fill a gap in service provision in Ayrshire and it's focus remains the same.....helping families and children.  We provide advice and practical support so that families can regain control of their lives.  Our services are open to anyone who is experiencing issues relating to someone else's substance misuse.

The National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund contributes across all areas of our service contributing to costs for salaries, core funds, volunteers costs and children's activities to name a few.

Lloyds TSB part fund both our drug awareness project and children's therapy service. They also fully fund our mediation service.
